While the weather is warm and we’re spending so much time outside, I think I’m going to switch it up and replace my {this moment} photo with something more my speed. Like photos of the outdoors. If you took seasonal outdoor photos that you love, why don’t you join in and post a link in the comments? Tell the story behind your photos. I called it the Great Outdoors so anyone can join in—it’s not farm or garden specific.

I caught this amazing sunset one night this week after a particularly trying day. It was my first time alone in a while—I had just instituted a daily evening walk on the farm after Nathan's in bed. It was relaxing to be alone and plug in to my iPod, and refreshing to walk briskly sans stroller. I was able to walk faster (and hopefully burn more calories) and go places places on the farm I can’t normally access with a stroller. And I felt lighter. Refreshed. And this sunset sealed the deal. It was the most peaceful moment of my day.
How beautiful Kelly; I love sky pictures. I hope you have a great weekend and you find time to enjoy more walks around the farm. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracey! I hope you have a wonderful weekend, too. : )
ReplyDeleteI love the daytime moon shots! So magical! :)
ReplyDeleteHere's our moment, of my mom teaching my kids how to use the sewing machine... http://sofiasideas.com/2011/07/15/this-moment-31/
I really hope you'll take a moment to come by! :)
These are all amazing pictures. *sigh* makes me appreciate the beauty of nature. Thanks for sharing. I will have to go out & take some nature pics! I hardly ever do. Usually my focus is around my daughters. BUT tomorrow is beach day & I'll try & snap some there & come back & link it with your comments. :o)

Jazmin, that would be great!
ReplyDeleteThis looks beautiful, how peaceful to be able to walk around a farm in the evenings - especially sans pram! I can completely relate to the feeling of walking without it when you are so used to holding or pushing the extra weight of a little one. Thanks for sharing, and great idea to have outdoor pics for 'this moment'.
ReplyDeleteOh wow I can see why this moment was so amazing. I LOVE sunsets and this one is one of the best I've seen in a while. It's always better on a kinda cloudy day. Thanks for sharing these at Rub Some Dirt On It!
