Yarn Along
I'm joining Ginny of small things for the weekly Yarn Along. These are my first pair of toe-up socks from Wendy Knits' Socks from the Toe Up, and they're a Christmas gift for a friend. I love knitting socks, so these are the first of many this witnter. I'm still plodding along on the boring gray gloves for my husband; I'll get 'em done before Christmas.
I hope this cold weather is inspiring some awesome hand knits! It's too cold to wear my new sweater (in last week's Yarn Along), but I've been wearing it anyway. It's fabulous! Until a gust of wind got to me through the bulky stitches while I was pumping gas this morning.

ReplyDeleteI have a book that was given to me based on knitting from the toe up and I hope to give a try sometime soon...but, I've never knit socks before so it may be a while!
