It’s Friday night, and right now in my craft room I’m:
♥ making a wreath for an order in my little Etsy shop.
♥ knitting hats for the people affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan (in the box on the right).
♥ dreaming about the flowers I’ll get from the seeds I'll plant this weekend (in the middle of the table).
In my craft room:
♥ coffee cups need washing (my husband’s not the only one who hordes coffee cups?!).
♥ my straight needles wait for me to choose a light but cozy cotton yarn for my spring/fall short-sleeved cardigan (haven’t found it yet).
♥ seedlings yearn for daylight to return. It won’t be long before I start bringing these guys outside to get acclimated to real sunshine, wind and weather.
♥ a portion of my stash silently asks me when I’ll come back for it. Soon, my friends! I have lots of plans for thee.
♥ this awesome tin begs for a new (and more visible) use. Buttons, maybe? Or how about roving? I think buttons.
♥ I get to see my husband on our wedding day (in left photo) and my husband when he was just a wee lad, with his mom (in right photo) simultaneously. And yes, I really like Dick Francis. He's my favorite author.
♥ my wreath is done and ready to be shipped in the morning.
What’s happening right now in your craft / sewing / knitting room?
All that is going on in my crafting area right now is a giant mess.... and a sleeping little boy as well as two tired dogs. I pulled apart my yarn stash shelf to update my Ravelry page and see if I had any more yarn to use for the Knitting For Japan that perhaps I had forgotten about.
ReplyDeleteLove the wreath! It's so bright and cheerful!
