I still have so much to do tonight that I must keep my pre-Thanksgiving Yarn Along (with Ginny at Small Things) short. The most important thing (in my opinion) is to finish Nathan's Big Birthday Owl:
We're celebrating his second birthday (I can't believe it's this weekend!!!!) on Thanksgiving when all of our family will be together, and this owl is my gift to him. Tonight is my last chance to craft before our out-of-town family arrives, so I'd better get to it.
I can't wait to write up my Finished Object report on this quick knit -- I'm loving it! And I'm really stoked that even though I'm giving this sweet, squishy owl away, he still gets to live in my house and I can hug and squeeze him whenever I want! *joy* I can't wait to tell you more on how he was named.
A quick note to those looking for my cherries scarf pattern that I previewed on last week's Yarn Along post and promised it'd be here this week: I'm sorry! The week got away from me and I forgot to ask my friend to create the PDF. If all goes well, I should have it live next week. I apologize for the delay!
I won't be back in this space until after Thanksgiving, so have a happy, safe and warm Thanksgiving, my friends!
