Hey, whatever it takes. :-) Some seasons see us putting more in, some less...but I hear you on the deer, they are NOT fun. We have a major fence now and if we didn't, I'd not want to plant much, either.

Well, I look forward to hearing about what you do plant (and make with your produce- yum to the fritters!) at the TGP!Jami @ An Oregon Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17667526972866583695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6021693474151740816.post-90081018395548544112012-03-08T00:38:29.179-05:002012-03-08T00:38:29.179-05:00I actually love getting snow during the winter but...I actually love getting snow during the winter but we had a really mild time here on the west coast to. Only a few little snowfalls which were in the last month but the hint of spring and planting has got me out in the garden digging up weeds and turning over my beds *grin*. I have a hard time picking out my seeds & supplies to. I just never know which to get or how much I might need :) I came over from ginny's and am joining in her garden updates as well so I look forward to seeing your garden grow :)Rosina {Rosy ~ Posy}https://www.blogger.com/profile/00166454431527039022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6021693474151740816.post-2141481910304154672012-03-07T11:44:08.667-05:002012-03-07T11:44:08.667-05:00Gardeners get to have "presents" in Marc...Gardeners get to have "presents" in March and April as their seed orders arrive in the mail!Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17433260552425620150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6021693474151740816.post-68704191595908446212012-03-06T14:32:47.186-05:002012-03-06T14:32:47.186-05:00I'm doing zucchini for the first time in a lon...I'm doing zucchini for the first time in a long time this year as well! I am trying a variety that is supposed to grow up, so I can trellis it--we'll see how it does. We got hooked on making zucchini "noodles" to take the place of regular flour noodles--just use a vegetable peeler to make thin peels, then fry it up very briefly in a little olive oil. I use them to replace regular spaghetti in a recipe--low calorie and good tasting! And those fritters are making my mouth water!Athena at Minerva's Gardenhttp://minervasgarden.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6021693474151740816.post-89372678366221217112012-03-06T10:22:42.999-05:002012-03-06T10:22:42.999-05:00bopped over from Ginny's...

I have a family garden here that is about 1/2 acre. We plant carrots, corn, broccoli, brussel sprouts, tomatoes, lettuces, squashes, beans, cantaloupe, watermelon, ect. Yeah, we plant a lot! I know you will enjoy yours! Have a great weekend.Tracey ~ Cloverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11575854515384481573noreply@blogger.com
